As a patient of the St Mary's Surgery for most of my life, I do not support any proposal for closure or reduction in services to local patients. When it was first announced a number of months ago that Lakeside Healhcare planned to close St Mary's Surgery, I jointly signed a letter with our local MP's and Council Leaders to oppose the plans being put forward. I have also written to the Lincolnshire Clinical Commissioning Group to oppose any form of closure or reduction in services, as Stamford needs access to healthcare now more than ever in our growing Town.
I have also sent an individual letter to John Turner the Chief Officer of the Lincolnshire CCG with regards to the proposed closure by Lakeside. I have attached the letter below.
