I had the pleasure of attending the Stamford Primary Schools Singing Day, organised by the Stamford Diversity Group in support of the RNLI.
Children from six local primary schools – St George’s, St Gilbert’s, St Augustine’s, Malcolm Sargent, Stamford Junior School, and Uffington Primary – came together for a heartwarming performance, singing their hearts out to raise funds for a fantastic cause.
Their hard work paid off, raising an incredible £733 for the RNLI, a charity that’s been saving lives at sea for 200 years!
A special thanks to Fergus Black for his musical direction and to the poet laureate Darren Rawnslay for sharing his poetry throughout the event. It was truly inspiring to see our young people come together to make a difference!
Well done to everyone involved!
